Hunter Wrote A Book

A book about the same dinosaur.

He said Rarr. Then he got mad.

He walked away.

I met a friend. Do you want to be my friend? He said nothing.

When he walked away, he found another dinosaur. Then he said, do you want to be my friend? And he said...yes?

And then they both walked away with each other.

Then they found two more dinosaurs.

And then they said do you want to be our friends?
And they said yes.
The End
Here is the Author and Illustrator (as he likes to be called) working on his next book!

Tuesnight

In an effort to get our kids to sleep in their own beds, we told them they could fall asleep in our bed one night a week. We chose Tuesday's. Every night Hunter asks "Is it Tuesnight?" This last Tuesnight when we went to move them to their own beds this is how I found my little princess Marley:

Look What We Got!

Before you say "What, You couldn't take care of your last two dogs!" We are just dog sitting! Sugar is such a sweet dog. Jenna loves her. She makes sure Sugar doesn't get left behind. We have been taking her to drop off and pick up at school. We might just have to tell our friends that she got out one of the holes that Jack & Winston dug!

Show No Fear

Kids are kind of like dogs. They can smell fear. I try to act brave but they can see right through it. The other day I went to set my alarm before bed and found this! My kids love to torment me! I find things like this all the time. I think the worst was finding a rubber snake in my bed!

Pick Up Line

This is the pickup line at Hunter's school. I go a little early and read a book while Jenna gets in a short nap.
Here is Hunter pointing out which car is his. I love to see his face light up when he sees me.

Cookie Contest

Tonight at church we had a cookie baking contest for the kids. They presented awards for presentation and for taste. We spent most of the day working on our cookies. I told Marley her choice was very time consuming. But that didn't faze her. She made decorated sugar cookies. She got third place for presentation.

Hunter made chocolate cookies with a chocolate kiss in the middle. He got a green ribbon for participation.

There were so many good cookies! It was hard to decide which ones to try. Marley decided to try all the cookies! Maybe we should have eaten dinner first!

Buns!

We came up on this truck recently. It is full of hamburger and hot dog buns. Here are some of the comments made from our vehicle: “ Wow, Look at those buns!” “We better ketchup to those buns!” “Yes, we MUSTard!”

Monster Truck Rally

Hunter and Pops had a great time at the Monster Truck Rally! You can read all about it here: http://wallaceblue.blogspot.com/2008/09/friday-night-i-took-my-grand-son-hunter.html

Biting

Three days of school. That is all it took! Jenna’s teacher let me know that she bit a classmate! I am mortified! There are two things that I can’t stand one is biting, the other is spitting! I have given her a time-out, spanking and have even bit her back for biting at home. I have been told I need to bite her harder! I am not sure I can do that! Does anyone have any advice?

Jenna in the Park

Jenna and I had an evening to ourselves. Marley stayed the night with a friend and Pops took Hunter to a Monster Truck Rally! So we hung out at the park. We played on the playground.

Jenna even caught me when I came down the slide.

We fed the ducks. Luckily I had left a bag of bread in the back of the car and it got smashed. So we had lots to feed the hungry ducks!

We went back to the playground, where Jenna got very brave.

She had to go down this slide.

I remember the first time Marley went down this slide. She was probably Jenna’s age. Daddy climbed up with her but he could not fit through the top quick enough. All I saw was Marley going head over feet down the slide. She didn’t get hurt and wanted to go right back up. And as for Jenna she did fine. Except a little static!

Preschool

Today was Jenna's first day of preschool. She was very excited to get dressed and to take her backpack with her. As you can see her backback is as big as she is.

Jenna had no problems going in. Lucky for her her school is at our church. Her class is her Sunday School class and her teacher is her Sunday School teacher!
Here is Daddy walking her to class.
Jenna is the only girl in a class of 7. 3 of which are triplets. I am not worried at all about her. Actually I am a little worried about those boys. I hope she doesn't beat them up!
