Hunter's New Found Talent

We are already half way through the second week of Kindergarten and Hunter is up to his underpits with knowledge. He would like to share some of that with you:

Swimming

Jenna learned to swim this summer. Well sort of. She pushes off the side or somone. She swims like Hunter, under the water. We were quite impressed and think you will be too!

Conversation With Hunter

“How was your day?”
“I don’t want to talk to you about it.”
“Did you like it? Do you want to go back?”
“Yes.”

“What was your favorite thing about your 1st day of school?”
“Playing outside.”
“What was your least favorite thing?”
“Nothing. I liked it all. Especially recess. Mom, what is recess?”

“My music teacher’s brain is fuzzy, she might not remember all of our names.”

“Who do you sit by at lunch?”
“Everyone who sits by me!”

1st Day of School

First we drop off Hunter. He was greeted by Mr. D and Silly Willy.

We are so lucky to have good friends in our class like Judson!

We only know a few of her classmates. But she had her entourage with her as well.

We have a just another week and a half before we start school. Hunter and Camden will be starting Kindergarten. Corbin will be going into second, Marley into third. And even Jenna will be starting preschool! Someone get me a tissue!

In this last picture can you tell the kids are in a band? Marley is upset the boys want a rock band and she wants a musical! Thanks to Marley these boys will be good husbands. She is already teaching them to just go along with what she says and everything will be good!

New Bike

Jenna got a bike. Marley and Hunter got school supplies. Hmmm! Who got the better deal? Jenna tries to keep up with the big kids. When they ride their bikes she gets her big wheel out and tries to keep up with them. Her feet can reach the petals on this bike. She hasn't quite got the hang of it but it won't be long. The bike comes with a basket, streamers on the handle bars and even a bell to ring. We will be lovin' that on our next bike ride!!

Actually, Lizzie has been good. Mom gave her a bath before she came and she just started stinking last night! The kids and I are taking her to be groomed tomorrow so she can smell good when my parents get home!

And I am so glad my parents were able to go see my sister in St. Thomas. They are having a great time. The first night they said they had the best food they have ever eaten. Today they went to Megan's Bay, Mountain Top. The picture above is of Megan's Bay that I got off the internet. Tomorrow they will be going to St. John. I can't wait to see all of the pictures they have taken.
